On August 3, 2021, a friendly visit of PM Industrial specialists to the Aprelevskoye branch of FSBI VNIGNI took place to get acquainted with the capacities of the Research and Analytical Center and the Core Storage of the Federal Core Material Fund. The Federal Fund for Core Material is a modern scientific and technical cluster of Rosnedra, whose main task is to work with core material, its comprehensive study, systematization and subsequent digitization of the data obtained. • The scientific and analytical center, which includes 6 laboratories, conducts a comprehensive lithological, petrophysical and geochemical study of core material; • The volume of possible storage of core material is 2,000,000 linear meters of core; • The core storage provides for the collection, systematization, study, centralized storage and provision for use of cores from wells drilled at the expense of the state budget and funds of subsoil users; • The core storage provides replenishment, systematization and study of paleontological collections and lithological and petrographic thin sections, as well as oil collections that are part of the Federal Core Material Fund.
