On April 08-10, the XIII Session of the Russian-Arab Business Council and the lV International Exhibition "Arabia-Expo" were held under the motto: "Russia - the Arab world: time for action for the future." The key event of the IV International Exhibition Arabia-EXPO was the XII Session of the Russian-Arab Business Council, the main focus of which was on the activation and building of a constructive dialogue between Russia and the countries of the Arab region, the establishment of a qualitatively new level of friendly interstate relations. It was attended by more than 1,500 guests from the countries of the Persian Gulf and North Africa. The opening ceremony of the XII Session of the RABC was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation - Sergey Lavrov. Among the participants were also Chairman of the Board of Directors of AFK Sistema Vladimir Yevtushenkov, Head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund Kirill Dmitriev, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov. The Arab countries were represented at the plenary session by the ministers of Iraq, Libya, Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq and Morocco.
