PM Industrial took part in the international conference on chemical methods for enhancing oil recovery in Kazan

From May 29 to May 31, 2024, it was held in Kazan III International Scientific and Technical Session “Chemical Methods for Enhanced Oil Recovery: Industry Challenge”. PM Industrial took part in this significant industry event, presenting its developments in the field of enhanced oil recovery.

As part of the section “Combined EOR using chemical reagents,” Daniil Ermolin, an expert at PM Industrial, made a presentation on the topic “Prospects for the implementation of thermopolymer flooding technology in fields with high-viscosity oil”. The presentation aroused considerable interest among conference participants and became the subject of lively discussions. Industry experts actively discussed the potential application of this technology, its effectiveness and the possibility of adaptation to various geological conditions.

The conference brought together leading experts in the field of chemical methods for enhancing oil recovery from Russia and foreign countries. The event became a platform for exchanging current experience, discussing the latest technologies and identifying ways for the development of chemical oil and gas recovery in the face of modern challenges in the oil and gas industry.

The conference discussed a wide range of issues, including the current status and review of pilot and full-scale CMOR projects, new reagents and technologies in the field of CMOR applications, import substitution and localization of key elements of CMOR, digital solutions and modeling to improve the effectiveness of CMOR, as well as methods for monitoring the effectiveness of CMOR in field conditions.

PM Industrial plans to continue active participation in such industry events, considering them as an important tool for exchanging experience and developing innovative approaches in oil production.
